Tom Petty and The Heartbreakers Re-route North American Tour, Add Dates

We previously reported on Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers going on a huge North American tour in support of their album, Mojo. There have been a few changes though. The album now drops June 15th and they unfortunately have to reschedule several dates on their tour due to the delay of the album. Fans who were excited to see the band live after their eight year break from the stage will have to wait a little longer if their cities are one of the re-routed ones. See if you need to change your plans with Petty and the guys below!

The tour will now start on June 6th in Oakland instead of May 6th in Raleigh, NC. However, they are attempting to console fans by adding a second show in Philadelphia in addition to more unannounced dates.

• 09/24  Houston @ Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion (w/TBD)
• 09/26  Phoenix @ US Airways Arena (w/TBD)
• 09/28  San Diego @  Cricket Wireless Pavilion (w/TBD)
• 10/01  Los Angeles @  Hollywood Bowl (w/TBD)
• 10/02  Irvine @ Verizon Wireless Amphitheatre (w/TBD)

All dates between June 5th and August 27th will go as planned. See them here. Although Jarvis Cocker of Pulp planned on joining them on tour,  it still has not been confirmed by Petty’s representatives but we’ll keep you updated!
