Apes of Wrath might have been named after one of the many cartoon renditions of the the John Steinbeck novel – yes, no, or maybe, it’s their music that ends up being on the front burner. There’s something about San Diego guys turning out the kind of tunes that all-inclusive thoughts are made of, but the fact that these particular guys admit to a shared individual and musical diversity as the possible reason behind them makes their effortless sound more enjoyable.

We could list off reasons why we like them, but sometimes it comes down to the simple things – say, Googling “metamorphic rock” in an attempt to further understand their approach only to be subjected to a science lesson instead.
