Since 2001, four-piece female group The Like has been filling ears with the sound of music. Most, if not all the girls, come from musically inclined backgrounds, including the daughter of a Geffen A&R Rep and another the daughter of one of the members of Elvis Costello’s band. This group screams talent. Their name is based off the fact that the girls (like many of us out there) say “like” all the time. One of the girls’ mothers suggested the name one day and it stuck . Now, signed to Downtown Records, the girls are planning on releasing their second full-length album produced by Mark Ronson sometime this summer.
