Bono’s Bad Back Means No North American Tour for Interpol

Who would have thought that one bad back would throw everything askew? Bono‘s back is causing some major trouble for the super-sexy NYC band Interpol. A few days ago, we told you guys that U2 was forced to cancel their Glastonbury gig, plus their 16-date U.S. tour due to Bono’s recent emergency surgery. Consequence of Sound tells that Interpol, being U2′s support throughout the tour, has also been forced to pull some shows.

It seems like this time, it is us who are out of luck, as Interpol will only be postponing North American tour dates. Interpol wrote this on their official website:

“We lament the change in plans, apologize for the inconvenience, and assure you that we’ll do you right when the time is right and the light nice.”

As usual, refunds will be available at the original purchased price. I think I speak for everyone when I say that this totally and completely sucks!
