Gene Simmons Sued For Sexual Harassment (Gasp!)

Well, Kiss fans, there’s good news and there’s bad news: recent assault charges against Kiss bassist/ shamless-just-absolutely-shameless-destroyer-of-all-things-good-in-rock Gene Simmons, in which the long-tongued, allegedly short-fused rock ‘n roller was accused of choking a couple at the Grove mall in Los Angeles for filming him without permission, were dropped on May 26^th for lack of evidence.

That’s your good news, Kiss fans.  The bad?  Looks like Simmons is facing another lawsuit now, this one for sexual harassment/ assault.

According to Spinner, makeup artist Victoria Jackson alleges that while working for ESPN Sports Center last November, Simmons approached her in full Kiss makeup and uniform:

In her suit, Jackson accuses the long-tongued lothario of grabbing and hugging her, with spikes from his costume jabbing into her, to which she responded, “Ouch. You are hurting me.”

Then Simmons began “humping” her, “to the extent she could feel his groin grinding into her.” Jackson claims there are witnesses who describe the incident as “degrading, shocking and humiliating.”

This is too serious a situation to even make a joke about – and it should be noted that “Simmons’s spokesman said his client, ‘categorically denies’ the allegations” – though I will say that “degrading, shocking, and humiliating” pretty much describes the emotions of anyone who has purchased a Kiss ticket and/ or ludicrously-priced trinket since 1980.
