Watch: Paul McCartney Sing-along With President Obama, Jack White, Dave Grohl
By Seraphina L.
We previously shared the news with you about Paul McCartney receiving one of the highest honor in pop music. Last night he went on over to the White House to take the Gershwin Prize for Popular Song but, of course, Paul McCartney doesn’t just show up to a place without putting on a classic “would’ve been cool to be there” kind of shows.
During the ceremony, there were musical offerings from the Beatle as he serenaded first lady, Michelle Obama, with – you guessed it – the song, “Michelle.” However, the house full of celebrities and musicians really threw it down when everyone joined in for a sing-along during “Hey Jude.” Check the video out below!
McCartney rocks it out on the piano before he comes out to the front of the stage and leads everyone to the last beats of the song. However, before he he gets up we see President Barack Obama and his wife join musicians such as Jack White, Stevie Wonder, Dave Grohl, Faith Hill and Kevin Jonas (we’re surprised we can tell those Disney brothers apart, too!) on stage as they clap and sing the all too familiar “na-na-na-na” in the song.
McCartney and Obama together? Yeah, we can dig that. Check the video out below!

What do you think of the sing-along?

considering some of the off-color comments mccartney made during the evening, who knew the ex-beatle/music legend was such a lowlife piece of garbage.
