Eminem’s New Album Leaks Two Weeks Early

Eminem‘s latest album, Recovery, has inevitably leaked on to the internet and everyone is up in arms about it. How did it happen? What are we gonna do? Honestly, if anyone is still surprised that this happens… please jump off a cliff just like Em does in his latest video.
It’s 2010, people. Everything is leaked and ripped on to the internet. Even if it doesn’t leak, when it comes out it’ll be uploaded for people to download immediately. The true fans WILL buy the albums and pay for it legally. People who are just curious and half-interested will most likely download them illegally.
If an artist happens to convert a fan with an illegally downloaded album, they shouldn’t be upset. You’ve just gained a new fan who will now buy your art and come to your shows (which they pay absurd prices to go see). This should be the model that is embraced; but instead, the record companies choose to wage an uphill battle. They are our modern day Sisyphus.
I personally no longer care for Eminem. He’s like rap’s Spice Girls… but talented. He was hot for a bit, then he just got on my nerves; Every time I hear him, I think of 2000-20001. I hated those years. For those interested in the tracklisting of Recovery, here it is:
