Lady Gaga Music Video: Alejandro
By Seraphina L.
Lady Gaga returns with another scandalous video for her single, “Alejandro,” and all we can say is “DAMN, girl.” The reigning queen of shock factor pop knows no boundaries. Although there was an epic wait for the 10-minute video for “Telephone” (featuring Beyoncé), the video duet of ad placements and special guest appearances don’t hold a candle to what you’re about to see in her latest clip. Depending on your personal censorship, this video may or may not be NSFW.
“Alejandro,” a throw back to Ace of Base is one of the catchier songs on the 8-track album, The Fame Monster, so there was no doubt that Lady Gaga would give you some accompanying visuals that may be stuck in your head as well. Now, whether those images are something you actually want to see in the first place is a debatable question.
Overall, the video is very dark starting with a scene where Lady Gaga walks in with what seems to be Alejandro’s heart. At first, she seems to be in mourning but images of her alone quickly cut to some very riské scenes where she is doing dance moves closely resembling moves in the bedroom. Soldiers who are dancers with both masculine and feminine qualities also permeate the 8:43 clip with Rhythm Nation-like choreography. There are a lot of unexpected elements that pop up… but that’s also expected of any Lady Gaga video if that makes any sense.

I never paid very much attention to Gaga's music till now.
I'm a synth fanatic and I had been in search of synth basslines
in Gothic dance music when I ran across this video.
Compared to her other work, this is art, and not for kids.
The meanings of the images could stand for anything, I'm not
really religious so no offense taken.
I liked it, and thought it was rather deliciously erotic.
Now I'm looking forward to her pushing the limits in the future as well.
