Watch: Christina Aguilera Sings National Anthem For Lakers

Christina Aguilera may have just found a second job singing for the Lakers who won the 2010 NBA Championship last night. Not only did she sing for them at Tuesday’s game (June 15) but she was asked to sing for them again during the showdown between the LA Lakers and the Boston Celtic last night.

Has she become their good luck charm?

In the video below, you can watch and listen to the pop star belt the national anthem a Capella. It’s nice to hear her use her full voice as her new album features a lot of electronic songs where her full talent is just not being showcased enough. We understand that she went for a new vibe and a new sound by working with artists we love such as Sia, Le Tigre and Ladytron but as one of the few female pop stars who actually have the talent to back whatever image she chooses next, we want to hear that voice!

Her album, Bionic, could be doing better in terms of her usual sales expectations and she just had to cancel her highly anticipated video in support of the album since she is in the middle of filming for Steve Antin’s Burlesque alongside Cher. Hopefully, she’ll get some luck in return for giving it to the Lakers. Watch her performance from last night below!
