CocoRosie at the Orpheum Tickets Giveaway

I adore how CocoRosie surprises me – every track something new, and every track I think "Wow, I've never heard anything like this before." It reminds me (and I hope others) that music is not just a commodity, something we buy, but art that takes time and talent commitment to produce.
Plus, their album art for "Noah's Ark" is pretty much the definition of awesome.

i love their music style because they walk that line between what is beautiful, and what is downright insane. there's a playful whimsey there, but always with a cloud of menace, like the ghost of a child playing.
