Lady Gaga Remix Album Coming To U.S. In August

Lady Gaga is still pretty much on top of her game in regards to reigning the mega-pop star kingdom. Not only was The Fame Monster much better than The Fame, but she and her marketing team have some of the best decisions in the music business right now. Every single, video, and tour concept of Gaga’s has been perfectly executed with the exception of her canceled tour with Kanye – but even then, she picked it right up back up with Kid Cudi by her side. The only hiccup came in the form of her unfortunate (and wasted) Rolling Stone cover.

Blasphemous videos or not, Lady Gaga has consistently given her fans enough material whether it’s a new single or video since her first hit, “Just Dance.” Since The Fame Monster is only eight tracks long and her third single is already out, she and her team were quickly forced to think of the next step. The solution aka the next tangible object to tide her fans over while she is in the process of writing a new album? An official remix album.

According to EW.com (via CoS), Lady Gaga will be releasing an official remix album simply title, Lady Gaga – The Remix, on August 3. There will be remixes of tracks from both The Fame and The Fame Monster by artists such as Passion Pit and frequent Madonna collaborator, Stuart Price. However, unlike the international remix album of hers that which is already out and successfully selling over 500,000 copies after only being released for four months, the US remix album will only have ten tracks.

The international remix album currently has the following tracks:

04. Eh Eh – Frankmuzik Remix

07. The Fame – Glam As You Remix
08. Bad Romance – Starsmith Remix
09. Telephone – Passion Pit Remix
10. Alejandro – Sound Of Arrows Remix
11. Dance In The Dark – Monarchy Remix
12. Just Dance – Deewaan Remix
13. Love Game – Robot To Mars Remix
14. Eh Eh – Pet Shop Boys Remix
15. Pokerface – Live From The Cherrytree House Remix
16. Bad Romance – Grum Remix
17. Telephone – Alphabeat Remix

It’ll be interesting to see which ones get picked for the US release. This may be one of the most successful remix albums in our book. Although we loved the Phoenix remix album which shared some of the remixers on the Lady Gaga tracks listed above, the mainstream pull will most likely quickly eclipse anything by Phoenix. Also, it doesn’t hurt that this new album will drop just a day before she plays Lollapalooza. Her marketing team will be banking it.
