Lady Gaga Values Abstinence In The Name Of Creativity

Lady Gaga. Abstinence. Now those are two words you never thought you’d hear  in the same sentence. Yet, those two words are, indeed, related now.

According to an interview for the upcoming issue of Vanity Fair (via Reuters), which she will grace the cover of, Gaga actually fears it. Now if that were to make sense to you at first, we’d assume you were from Mars because we all know who Lady Gaga is. We know what she stands for. We’ve seen her extravagant and yet revealing costumes and we’ve heard her not-so-lady-like lyrics. Lady Gaga knows no boundaries and doesn’t play by anyone’s rules. So how could she laud the value of abstinence? Is this image clearly a facade that’s thicker than her wig from the “Poker Face” music video?

Well, kids. Don’t expect Gaga to join the nunnery any time soon. Unlike most pop stars like the Jonas Brothers, Miley Cyrus and Jordin Sparks, Gaga is not keeping her “holy temple” pure for holy purposes. Somehow, Gaga managed to shock us all again but this time with just her words as she told Vanity Fair, “I have this weird thing that if I sleep with someone they’re going to take my creativity through my vagina.”  Yeah, she went there.

Now it makes sense. Not only does she believe her creativity can be taken from her lady parts but she is sticking to abstinence for her own personal reasons. We should have expected her to give us a bizarre reasoning.

Lady Gaga will be on the cover of Vanity Fair‘s September issue and the rest of the interview will be in it.  She’ll also be headlining Lollapalooza this coming weekend. Don’t expect that performance to be less racy than usual. She’s got all that creativity bottled up inside after all.
