oh my gosh! tokyo police club! i cannot even begin to explain why they are so fantastic. Dave Monks voice gets me as giddy as a 13 year old girl listening to Justin Beiber. Plus, his bass skills are impeccable. The synth additions to their songs make me want to dance all day long! i cannot imagine not being able to listen to them for even one day. when i see them…i feel like my life will be a little more complete.

One of my favorite songs is "Your English Is Good". It makes me want to dance every time I hear it and I'm not a dancer. Woop!

My girlfriend loves Tokyo Police Club, always has. The 12th is our one year anniversary, and our last one together before we both leave for college. We were planning on making it a special one, spending the day together and ending it by going to the concert of the band she loves. One problem; both of us were/are absolutely totally broke. By the time we had gathered the cash to get the tickets, the show was sold out. You’re the last chance I have to save the anniversary. And you know, save the anniversary, save the world. Or at least my love life.

Why Tokyo you ask? Well I just love them. I think they are an awesome band and I have been dying to see them for a very long time. Everytime I try to see them sell out or don't tour near me. It's quite frustrating when you can't see your favorite band live.
"Oh, the least you could do is try and act surprised
    Try and act alright
But you're here for the chase and next year's a ways away"
    -Tokyo Police Club "Favourite Colour"
I am definitely here for the chase of these tickets and i can't wait any longer to see this band live.

Alright besides the fact that their the most epic band out right now besides (The growlers) I think the real question is why tokyo? rather than any other city, lets get to the heart of that, shall we, alright? Alright so My opinion on why they choose tokyo is the following reason, its the biggest city in Japan and has the biggest population of any other city in the world, So since its the biggest populous city in the world wouldn't the police force that served and protected it need to be THE BEST? So they chose Tokyo because They know their the only band that can live up to the expectation of a person whom has never listened to them before. As for myself I love Tokyo Police Club just as much as anyone who would post something on a website to try to obtain a ticket. The last reason why I think I should be chosen is because I know if I went I would Scream soo loudd and make them want to come back and play again here, isn't that all of our hopes and wishes in the end. Thank You beatcrave.com i love you!

I need these tickets so badly. Me and my really close friend have wanted to see these guys for a very long time. Tokyo because they are what brought me and my friend together. We are both leaving to different colleges at the end of the month and we really wanted to go to this concert to have one final memory together this summer. In the great words of Tokyo Police Club "Give us your vote
If you know what's good for you"
Getting these ticket would make me and my best friend the happiest people in the world.

I've loved Tokyo Police Club for five years. They've gotten me through some really rough patches like my first year of high school, my mother's hospitalization, a suicide attempt by my best friend, and now my first year in college. No matter what has gone wrong, I've known that I could listen to them and feel at peace, because they make you realize that the world is never a completely terrible place.

Every time I tried to spread the joy of them, though, they were never given a chance because they weren't mainstream. But now that my friends have seen the light, they're desperate to come with me.

This is my first chance to see them when I have both the money and resources to get there, but by the time I got it all, it sold out. It crushed me since the most ironic part about it is that my friends all have their tickets. But I can't lose hope because TPC just won't allow me to, even if I don't get to see them. :)

My best friend and I were planning on seeing Tokyo Police Club, then it sold out. This is going to be our last time going to a concert before we both go off to college. I've known her for 4 years. She is absolutely CRAZY about them! She loves their sound and loves ever one of their songs. I want to make sure that we can have one more crazy night in Hollywood before we both leave California. She is an amazing friend who's always been there for me. I think this would be the best "thanks for being so amazing & wish you good luck in Washington" present she could ask for. :)

actually it's for two. a pair of tickets is two tickets

They're giving away "two pairs of tickets". Good luck, Nick! :)

if i don't win these tickets i will still find a way to be there which would probably involve me paying more than i should just to watch Tokyo Police Club! Isn't that what a real fan does?

  15. Posted by anonymous

well if she dumps you for not taking her to see Tokyo Police Club, it isn't really love is it?

  16. Posted by ohfishelly

Not if they're scraping money to support a family.
But I see what you did there.

Well whoever said anything about her dumping him? I think it's sweet what you're doing, Nick. Good luck!

Back in 2005 when I was stationed in Japan, I started the Tokyo Police club a few years ago with a couple Japanese pals of mine. At first it was just a way to get together, have a couple drinks, and listen to some good music, but it eventually turned in to this big deal. The group grew and a few more chapters started around the world, namely in London and Ontario. However, I started dating this girl who really hated the band that my friends and I loved so dearly. The rest of the guys couldn't stand her so they gave me a choice: the band or the girl. I chose the girl and we're still together today. Ever since then, though, she's felt really bad that she split the group up back in the heyday, so when she saw that they were starting a chapter in Los Angeles, she promised we could go. But, alas, tickets are sold out and Beatcrave is my last hope. Please, Beatcrave, don't deny my last chance to rejoin my Tokyo Police club once and for all.

For a couple of months now me and my friends have known that the tokyo police club -one of our favorite bands- was going to come play, so we all quickly decided that we were all going to go, and that our tickets should be bought way ahead of time to avoid the struggle of getting a ticket to a sold out show. My friend -let's call him Mr. Cool- decided that he should take the initiative and get his ticket with another friend -let's call him el pelon (baldy)- without ever once even contemplating hitting up me and my other friend that perhaps maybe we would've also liked to have gotten our tickets with them; so, in a bit of childish fury, we procrastinated in getting our tickets like if it was our homework in our school days. Therefore, I guess the answer to the question would be that because of a mistake we made, we wouldn't like to miss out in watching one of our favorite bands with Mr. Cool, and El pelon. All four of us have loved the tokyo police club for a couple of years, and continue to listen to it with the excitement we got when we first heard their music; me, personally, when I first heard my first tokyo police club song, citizens of tomorrow, I felt the closest feeling I could get to what the youth of the 60's got when they first heard the up and coming british band The Beatles…So please give me and a friend the opportunity to watch the Tokyo Police Club, they're amazing, and what better way to enjoy them than with best friends.
