Honeypie: BeatCrave Fav
By Candace Butler
Honeypie is an upbeat band from Huntington Beach, California. Their music transitions from the folk rhythms of “Place in My Heart” to the pop sound of “Uh Oh” to the alternative rock vibes of “No Difference.” With lyrics like “I’ve got the moon in my backyard” and “There’s no difference in lying and saying nothing” combined with catchy upbeat melodies, it’s no wonder their music repeatedly shows up on popular sitcoms, including CW’s One Tree Hill and most recently ABC’s Pretty Little Liars.
Check out Honeypie, a sweet folk rock group with two like-minded artists formed and led by Trisha Smith (formerly of Venus Infers) formed, in the BeatCrave Fav series below!
