Kanye West Joined Twitter Because Interviewers ‘Just Demolished All Of My Jokes’

Because his arrogant and, more often than not, misguided public displays of hyper-ego (or, as he calls it, “talking”) don’t hit us fast enough, Kanye West has finally taken to Twitter, a site that allows his insipid megalomania to take shape in 140-character bursts. And, according to MTV, West made the move because, quite simply, traditional journalism cannot capture how funny he is:
“I got to the point where I didn’t even wanna do interviews anymore because I would have the interview and we’d be laughing, me and the reporter, and that’s funny, and then you read it and they completely just demolished all of my jokes… They just set ‘em up wrong.”
The rapper has quickly earned nearly 600,000 followers on the social networking site, all of whom can now bask in Kanye’s relatively uncensored glory. And now Kanye can communicate such comedy gems as:
“I got the best leather pants collection since the 80′s …. If I must”
“when people are in jeans … I got leather pants… shirt optional… chain heavy”
“I got my suit and tie and I don’t know if yall know well or maybe yall don’t but I don’t really care care…. this how we on it all the time”
