White Apple Tree: BeatCrave Fav
By Sasha Patpatia
White Apple Tree is a new wave, indie rock band that truly sounds like no one you have heard before. When I gave the band a first listen, I was impressed by their ability to produce a sound that breaks through the monotonous pop-rock trend that dominates the airwaves and current rock music scene. White Apple Tree creates the kind of music that has depth and relevance, yet is accessible for your drive home from a long day or a good workout. The dominating guitar melody is the perfect input of energy, and the drum beats are original and enjoyable.
The band is unafraid to step out of the box and really create music that sticks with the listener. I particularly enjoyed the lyrics, noticing that they seem universally understandable while remaining personal at the same time. With a number of SoCal shows lined up this month, I highly recommend making it a priority of checking out White Apple Tree in a live show. Also, be sure to check out the band in our BeatCrave Fav series below!
