Candy Claws: BeatCrave Fav

Candy Claws has working their magic in the dream pop genre, quite literally, actually. Swirling vocals and instrumentals punctuated by strategically-placed percussion accents make for a landscape feel, as if on some far-off adventure or exploratory journey on land or sea – of self, or otherwise. In fact, the Fort Collins, Colorado-based duo, Kay Bertholf and Ryan Hover (oft-fleshed out by at least six more; see below) has incorporated ocean sounds, birds singing, all to create the feel discovery and something unexpected.
Sound vague enough for you? Don’t worry, they’re anything but, but it seems to be their goal that – through personal experiences fueling their music – listeners feel something personal of their own.
