Chris Brown Claims That His Tearful Michael Jackson Tribute Was ‘My Ultimate Apology’
By Travis Woods
Singer/ public pouter/ domestic abuser Chris Brown paid a visit to BET’s “106 & Park” stage yesterday to discuss his tearful BET Awards Michael Jackson tribute – a performance many said smacked of an artificial PR stunt – and to brutally punch his way back into our hearts remind his fans of his dazzling talents.
According to Billboard, Brown said on “106 & Park” that:
“A lot of people don’t know, I was going to see Michael Jackson the day he died. I was on my way to the Staples Center that day,” Brown told an overly excited crowd of weeping, mostly female fans. “When I heard ‘Man In The Mirror,’ it just touched me. It wasn’t fake. I know people were trying to put extras on it, but everything was genuine. That was my ultimate apology, hands down.”
Did you catch that gang? If you’re going to viciously physically abuse someone you’re dating or love, you’ve got to make sure and impersonate a beloved and recently dead pop star if you ever expect to be let back into the hearts and minds of the public. I really don’t know how many more times I should have to tell you that, it’s simple logic, really.
What do you think of Chris Brown’s ‘apology’?

Music is suppose to touch all of us in some means or manner. I think that being able to do the tribute to MJ was an ultimately personal venue for him, and the song being one of Michael’s did give him retribution for all things in that one minute. It was a final release of everything. And that is the truth.

Wait so dancing and crying was his ultimate apology for beating Rihanna? That's stupid, why do his people allow him to speak…ever?

No prob Chris it was good, but I'm still waiting to hear what did Rihanna say or do because she's going around like a total innocent victim angel and we all know thats a load of B.S.

Well…the supposed 'victim' of this abuse doesn't seem to be too worried about it. I mean she walks out and just goes about her business and then turns around and rubs it in his face with that little interview of hers. So, if you're that LOW that you have to continue to beat him about it when the man couldn't even be there to honor his idol when he passed away, then maybe you should get a heart or get a clue.
