Summer Darling: BeatCrave Fav

Another SoCal-based contender for our choice favorite this week, or ever, at all, or always. Our Favs seem to find a way to stick in ways we least expect, and Summer Darling is no exception to our “criteria”, however flexible. The four-pieced band takes their affinity with the classic rock genre to a whole different plane, doing so with modern flair, keeping the glitz separate from the rifts. Their overall sound will reel you in while their down-to-earth stage presence and layered lyrics (open for interpretation, naturally) will keep you grounded and facing forward.
Thankfully they’ve also given us plenty of room to sway. We also dig their take on music in the sense of its always growing and changing with the times, from era to era, listener to listener, band to band. It’s not recycled, but rather revised and reinterpreted. What can we tell ya; we’re hopeless romantics. Check out Summer Darling in our BeatCrave Fav series below…
