Kanye West Power Video Spoof Transforms Song Into Frat Boy Anthem Kanye West Talks New Film; Continues To Beat Taylor Swifts Dead Horse

In between his unintentionally ‘Deep Thoughts’-styled tweets and behaving in such a way that even the President of the United States mutters “jackass” in his direction, Kanye West has taken time out from his busy schedule of endless narcissistic self-promotion to narcissistically self-promote his new film, which is based on his new record, which I’m sure won’t be narcissistic or self-promotional at all.

According to MTV, West spoke recently about Runway, “40-minute film-noir-style movie… that’s based on his upcoming album, whose title he has still not revealed”:

“It’s the story of a phoenix fallen to Earth, and I make her my girlfriend, and people discriminate against her and eventually she has to burn herself alive and go back to her world… I’ve been feeling the idea of the phoenix. It’s been in my heart for a while. It’s maybe parallel to my career. I threw a Molotov cocktail on my career last year, in a way, and I had to come back as a better person.”

Further, he had more to say (of course) about the Taylor Swift incident (of course) and how deeply, deeply wounded he was by that (of course), which forced him to traipse around Europe for the better part of a year (of course) to punish himself and learn to be better and stronger in the face of all of the unfair criticism he received (of course):

“It was just such a hard, shell-shocking year. Because there was no bad intent on my part, it’s just more bad timing. It was purely good intent. So to have been dragged through that for a year, it’s just amazing. I mean, I don’t know if it’s over. I’ll probably wear the scar for the rest of my life.”

Yes, West has been deeply wounded of this—because when a young teenage woman wins a massively publicized award and then you hop onstage, steal her time and her attention, ruin her important moment, and largely reveal yourself to the public to be the pompous, self-important and egomaniacal ass that you truly are… man, that hurts.

What do you think of Kanye’s comments?

I think you, the writer of this article…is the bigger Ahole for going on and on about him….How many times do you have to say you are sorry…I hope and pray you (writer of this article) never need forgiveness and that if you do…it is granted to you.

Crap happens and he'll never be able to take it back, but people need to let him move on. TAYLOR needs to let him move on. He's apologized. That's whats WRONG with the media…YOU won't let it go. If you'd stop writing articles like this, everyone would move past that junk! P.S. Kanye had it right, he just said what many of us were thinking!
