The indie pop quintet Twin Sister creatively tell stories through their reverb heavy and dreamlike music, that is, in a word, charming upon first listen.  The five members of the band, including vocalist Andrea Estella, keyboardist Dev Gupta, bassist Gabe D’Amico, guitarist-singer Eric Cardona, and drummer Bryan Ujueta all met in their teenage years and exchanged demos while playing with other bands, and in 2008 the members became a band and released their first EP, Vampires With Dreaming Kids.

Since their EP release, the group has gained a good following in Long Island, New York (the band’s origin) and has toured relentlessly in support of their music and new EP. Their music is hypnotically surreal, which is works well with Estella’s voice.  The band describes themselves as emotional and romantic, and their music reflects just that. In lieu of their latest EP release, Color Your Life, the band is touring with Devendra Banhart and The Grogs starting in October. After that they’ll be heading out on the road with The Morning Benders and more until the end of the year. Check out Twin Sister in the BeatCrave Fav series below!
