Mariah Carey to Launch Her Own Brand on HSN

Mariah Carey made news a few days ago when it was announced that she and husband Nick Cannon are expecting their first child. However, it looks like the star still plans to keep busy while waiting for her offspring to arrive. On November 29th, Carey will debut her own brand of fragrance, jewelry and footwear on The Home Shopping Network. She will appear on the network that day to personally promote and sell the items being offered.
The introduction of this line coincides with Cyber Monday 2010, the name given to the Monday after Black Friday when online markets report their best sales numbers and offer high discounts to customers.
Mariah Carey’s music may still be earning her attention, but certainly not as much as she’s used to. This latest attempt to keep her name out there can’t be as disastrous as Glitter, but we wonder if anyone cares enough to buy a perfume simply because it has her name on it. After all, she’s got some stiff competition with Justin Bieber rolling out his own brand as well…
