New Album Roundup: The Strokes, Death Cab for Cutie, Rise Against, Yuna

Rise Against recently threw another album our way, but they aren’t the only popular artists with with new material to show off. Today’s roundup is all about new and upcoming albums from some of your favorite artists, as well as one from someone who may soon be a new favorite. Read on to see if anything interests you…

• Alt-rock radio deejays can rest easy. The sixth studio album from Rise Against, Endgame, hits shelves today, March 15. These pseudo-punks will be joined by Bad Brains for a U.S. tour starting next month.
• Death Cab for Cutie announce that their next album, Codes and Keys, will be released on May 30 in the UK and May 31 in the U.S. So, can Ben Gibbard still write convincing sad songs even after marrying Zooey Deschanel? [Gibson]
• The Strokes let fans stream the new album for free online in an attempt to combat piracy. Apparently they think their new release is worth stealing, so it must be good. [XFM]
• Singer songwriter Yuna’s debut album gets a digital release today. Support new music and buy the album!
