Birds of Avalon: BeatCrave Fav

After their split from The Cherry Valence, guitarists Paul Siler and Cheetie Kumar came together to give us the indie rock affair that is Birds of Avalon. Now, the two guitarists make up for for half of the North Carolina band. The band is everything you can expect from two guitarists — their music is a roller coaster that takes you through psychedelic turns and grungy free falls. Recently the quartet released their third self-titled album through Bladen County Records. Birds of Avalon have a unique sound. They aren’t afraid to give us some experimental music, but keep nice with keyboards and drums. Birds of Avalon have shared the stage with famous bands like The Flaming Lips and The Raconteurs.
