Dwntwn: BeatCrave Fav

Meet Dwntwn, a Los Angeles band full of raw intensity in a high-quality package. Jamie’s effervescent, soft vocals against a mesh of driving percussion and Robert’s rap out-take in the bridge fuse together to become a fun, danceable song with an otherworldly feel in “Transition,” their first single. This is electronica that features strong, airy vocals as well as hip-hop elements, creating an ethereal quality to the usual techno blips and glitch-cool backbeats. We can’t wait for their first music video to drop, which apparently features the two steamy and face-painted—a perfect imagery for their hot, pop electro style.
