Brown Shoe: BeatCrave Fav

Coldplay. That’s what first came to mind when I played Brown Shoe‘s “The Aquarium,” a song that almost plays like a ballad. It’s so smooth and the vocals as sweet as honey. These kids have talent, there’s no doubt about that. Brown Shoe started in 2004. This band is four parts family (Ryan, Aaron, Bryson, and Landon Baggaley), plus Chandler Clemons on keys guitar. They’ve managed to put out three records, their last being in 2008, Jackalope. Their influences are many, and when you listen, you’ll get hints of Johnny Cash and the Los Angeles music scene. Brown Shoe’s sound is great and we can’t wait for their fourth album, The Gift Horse, to be released on October 18th. Check them out in our BeatCrave Fav series below…
