Nick 13: BeatCrave Fav

Nick 13 is creating a storm with his solo project. The singer, who is more famously known as the frontman of the three-way rock band Tiger Army, has gone country. And although he’s got a new sense of style with his nice tailored suits, he hasn’t lost his rock appeal. In June, Nick 13 released his self-titled debut record at Amoeba in Hollywood, CA. Although fans are used to the sounds of Tiger Army, they won’t be disappointed with Nick 13′s new style, and neither will the folks who like country music. Nick 13 grew up listening to country music and in his songs you can definitely feel the influence. You’ll notice how perfectly his vocals pour over his fast paced strumming. He’s really outdone himself in his new record. Despite the difference in style, he knows what he’s doing. Check out Nick 13 in our BeatCrave Fav series below.
