Black Light White Light: BeatCrave Fav
By Laura AguirreHailing from Copenhagen, Black Light White Light make relaxed psychedelic pop rock that feels like you’re on a summer road trip along the coast. Their debut record Infrared Daylight is a beautifully crafted and polished body of work, especially their song “Higher Than Low.” They’ve paired said song with a video that features a competitive and bloody game of soccer, which you can enjoy here. It’s a great piece of visual art, and hopefully, now that they’ve got their first record out, this trio can put together more music videos. Black Light White Light neo-psychedelic rock has an original feel to it that is also synonymous with indie bands forming in Echo Park and Silver Lake. They’ve got that sunny California feeling, but also a hint of 60′s European soul. Check them out in our BeatCrave Fav series below, and be sure to vote for them in this month’s poll!
