Because if the media is to be believed, Blue Ivy (the obligatorily horridly-named celeb child of Beyonce and Jay-Z) is the second coming of Jesus, the child is already being allowed to take over whole buildings.  At least, that’s the complaint of several new parents currently having to share space with the celebs at the Manhattan hospital where Blue Ivy was born.

Apparently, to meet Jay-Z and Beyonce’s demands for privacy at Lenox Hill Hospital, “other new and expecting parents said they were essentially put on “lockdown” and even booted out of the neonatal intensive care unit,” so that the famous couple could come and go as they pleased without having members of the proletariat look them directly in the eyes or share their air.

New father Neil Coulon fumed that “they just used the hospital like it was their own and nobody else mattered… They locked us into the NICU and would say, ‘You can’t come out to the hallway for the next 20 minutes.’ When I finally was able to go back out, I went to the waiting room and they’d ushered my family downstairs!”

But hey, how else will Blue Ivy ever develop an unrealistic and entitled sense that she can have or do whatever she wants while remaining completely detached from reality if her parents can’t give her a hospital wing of her very own?  It’s what all little girls want, right?

What do you think of Beyonce and Jay-Z’s actions?
