Currently making the rounds of internet meme-ory is a police car surveillance video clip that features a drunk man, having been arrested for public inebriation, singing Queen’s mega-tune “Bohemian Rhapsody” in its entirety (including the drum fills and air guitar solos) while cruising in the backs seat a Royal Canadian Mounted Police squad car. Even more shocking? That he can actually replicate the entire song from drunken memory. Check out the hilarious video below.
You know, there’s an old story about how the blues man Lead Belly was so good at playing the guitar and singing the blues that the governor of Texas gave the incarcerated singer a parole in the 1920s. One hopes that whatever judge this man faced took into account his fascinating and ridiculous performance of “Bohemian Rhapsody” before throwing the book at him. A performance this amazing earns a little leeway for a performer, don’t you think?
Look for such assorted greatest hits: the singer drops a few drum rolls against the glass in the backseat, shouts the “Galileo” section out of the sides of his mouth, and humorously tells the office, when instructed to calm down, that “I can’t,” in the calmest voice possible. Incredible:
What do you think of the video?
