  • Eminem’s Next Record: So, it turns out Eminem wasn’t lying when he said he was pulling the plug on his boxer movie to focus on music. According to Rolling Stone, the rapper is starting work on a new solo record next week.
  • Watch the Throne 2: Producer Mike Dean has confirmed that there will be a sequel to Jay-Z and Kanye West‘s Watch the Throne. According to Rolling Stone, the producer said that Throne 2 would be out next year, after the G.O.O.D Music album, of course.
  • Aerosmith Sets Release Date: Aerosmith has put an official release date on their upcoming album. Billboard reports that Music From Another Dimension will hit stores on August 28. This will be the followup to the group’s 2004 Honkin’ on Bobo.
  • Elton John Hospitalized: Elton John was hospitalized this week for a serious respiratory infection. According to Spinner, the legend was taken to Cedars-Sinai Hospital on Wednesday. Due to this, some of his Vegas shows have been cancelled.
