Rapper Flavor Flav got in some trouble this morning. He was arrested in Las Vegas for allegedly threatening the teenage son of his fiancee with a knife. The Public Enemy rapper was taken into custody around 3:30 this morning. More details below.

According to Billboard, the reality TV star was arrested at a home in a residential neighborhood several miles from the Las Vegas Strip. Police say that Flav got into a “heated” argument with a teenager and his fiancee. She said Flav hit her, and so she called 911.

The rapper, whose real name is William Drayton Jr., was booked on a felony charge of assault with a deadly weapon and a misdemeanor count of domestic violence. He was being held on a $23,000 bail at Clark County jail, but has since been bailed out. He’s expected to make his first court appearance on Thursday.

TMZ first broke the news. They have Flav’s mug shot, and we gotta say, he’s looking rather sad and confused.

Flav has been been on a number of VH1 reality TV shows, including The Surreal Life, Strange Love and Flavor of Love. He also once appeared on Celebrity Wife Swap with his fiance Liz Trujillo. He wasn’t the easiest person to deal with, especially since he spent most of his time on his phone and hanging with friends.

It was recently announced that Public Enemy was among the nominees for the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame’s class of 2013.
