Lady Gaga Got Offered Nearly Five Million Dollars To Be In The ‘Zoolander’ SequelBy Laura Aguirre
Pot-smoking, stage-puking artist Lady Gaga is being offered a bunch of money to play the love interest in the Zoolander sequel. She’s one among other non-talented “actresses” (models, actually) being considered for the role.
The Sun announced that Gaga is on a short list of candidates that includes models Kate Moss, Kate Upton, Heidi Klum and Adriana Lima, all of whom are being considered to star alongside Ben Stiller and Owen Wilson in Zoolander 2. Gaga is being offered a total of $4.8 million.
A Hollywood source said that Gaga is at the top of their list because she’s got talent, an attitude and an amazing sense of humor. We don’t doubt she’s got a sense of humor. She must have one judging by the way she dresses, but we’ve never seen her act. There are those music videos, but does that really count? Then again, does this sequel really require someone with a lot talent? Probably not.
The last time Gaga hit the big screen was in a silly cameo (comparing her to an alien) in Men In Black 3. She’s also set to make her Hollywood debut in Robert Rodriguez‘s Machete Kills. She’ll be playing La Chameleon. The singer is also working on The Great Gatsby‘s soundtrack, along with Prince.
Filming for Zoolander 2 begins early next year.
