News Roundup: Frank Ocean Arrested For Pot Possession, Coachella Hints At Rolling Stones Performance, And MoreBy Laura Aguirre
Frank Ocean ended 2012 on a high note, but this year hasn’t been all that great thus far. He started off 2013 by getting pulled over for speeding and when cops searched his car, they found a small bag of pot. Also, Coachella planners have dropped a big hint that suggests that the Rolling Stones will be performing at the festival. And OutKast will be reuniting on a few hip hop songs by other artists. More details on that below.
- Frank Ocean Got Busted For Pot Possession: So far, Frank Ocean’s year hasn’t been all that great. According to the A.V. Club, he started off his year by getting busted for pot possession after getting pulled over for speeding through Mono County, California. He Instagramed a photo while he was getting cited too. But despite the “worst trip ever” Ocean was released on the condition that his passenger drive him home. It’s all good. Source: Billboard
- Rolling Stones At Coachella?: It’s not confirmed yet, but Coachella planners are hinting that the Rolling Stones will be topping this year’s bill. - OutKast Reuniting On Frank Ocean, T.I. Songs: Big Boi revealed on Twitter that he’ll be joining Andre 3000 on updated renditions of Frank Ocean’s “Pink Matter” and T.I.‘s “Sorry”. During the summer Big Boi told his Twitter followers that he was going to appear on two Andre-assisted songs, but didn’t because Andre didn’t want an OutKast record coming out on anybody else’s LP but their own. Obviously things have changed since.
