Phoenix Reveals North American TourBy Laura Aguirre
Phoenix is back in the spotlight. The band recently shared the name of their new forthcoming record, titled Bankrupt!, and were announced as one of the headliners of this year’s Coachella. As expected, the French rockers will be going out on a tour to support their new music. They’ve scheduled a series of North American dates leading up to their big performance in the desert. Check it out.
The trip kicks off on March 28 at Vancouver’s Queen Elizabeth Theatre. This is the only Canadian date scheduled thus far. The band will then head down to the U.S., hitting up cities along the West Coast. They’ll play in Washington, Oregon, California, Arizona and Nevada, and then head back to Cali for two weekends to play Coachella.
Besides the title of their new record, Phoenix has yet to announce an official date of release. It’ll be sometime in April though.
The band will also play at the New Orleans Jazz Festival and the Sweetlife Festival (in Maryland) in May. After that they’re off to the other side of the pond where they’ll play more summer fests like Primavera Sound in Barcelona and Hultsfred Festival in Sweden. They’ll play their last show in Paris on August, 24th. Here’s the full list of dates:
