- Brian Wilson Announces New Solo Album: Brian Wilson announced that he’s working on his 11th solo record, and is set to embark on a short tour this summer with fellow former Beach Boys Al Jardine and David Marks, who are also lending a hand on the album. Source: RollingStone
- Nine Inch Nails Guitarist Quits: An another on bites the dust… Nine Inch Nails guitarist Adrian Belew announced that he was leaving the band. This means that he won’t be joining them on their worldwide summer tour which kicks off this July. The rocker posted on Facebook that he’s leaving the NIN to focus on his own project FLUX, and also stating that it just ‘didn’t work’. No word on who will be replacing him yet.
- Thom Yorke And Nigel Godrich Take Over American Radio: Thom Yorke and Nigel Godrich gave America a treat this morning when they shared “Honey Pot” for the very first time in a DJ set that was broadcast on KCRW. The two are currently promoting Atoms For Peace‘s first full-length album AMOK. During their visit, the pair talked about how DJing affects the way they view music, and other things.
