Kanye-West-la-9-27-13

By now you probably already saw the notable Kanye West interview with Zane Lowe. The whole thing is something that will be talked about for years to come because it’s an honest piece of media that shows us the true frustrations of one of today’s most controversial artists and famous celebrities. But not everyone agrees with that idea, especially late night host Jimmy Kimmel, who decided to mock the rapper during one of his shows earlier this week. Kanye, who’s not one to stay quiet, has since lashed out at the host, and we have more details on that below. Also, Drake has released a new music video for his song “Hold On We’re Going Home.” All that and more below.

  • Kanye West Lashes Out At Jimmy Kimmel: During his interview with Zane Lowe, West said that some people would mock him for what he was saying, and guess what? It happened. Late night host, Jimmy Kimmel decided to parody the rapper’s interview by getting two children to reenact some of the most memorable quotes. But even though West knew something like this would happen, he clearly was hoping it wouldn’t. Last night, Yeezy lashed out at Kimmel on Twitter, and later called him to ask for a public apology. So yeah, Kimmel is now in a rap feud, with one an artist, who unfortunately, has no sense of humor. [via Pitchfork]
  • Rock The Bells Cancels Rest Of Tour: If you were hoping to catch the traveling hip hop festival Rock The Bells this year, then you might just be out of luck. Rolling Stone reports that the festival is cutting the party short due to weak ticket sales. Festival promoters announced of the unfortunate news, saying, “We can’t complete the last half of the 10th Anniversary Rock the Bells tour. We did everything in our power to save the show. Unfortunately, the financial loss would have been devastating.” Full refunds will be given to those who purchased tickets for cancelled locations.
