Kings Of Leon Still Fighting With Glee's Ryan Murphy

Kings Of Leon are hitting the road. The band has announced that they’ll be touring next February to support their latest record Mechanical Bull. Also, Pink has postponed her current tour in Canada to rest her vocal cords. All that and More below.

  • Metallica To Play In Antarctica: Metallica will perform in Antarctica. The concert will take place inside a dome at the Argentine Antarctic Base Carlini on December 8 and the audio will be transmitted to the crowd through headphones. The audience will be made up of competition winning fans from Latin America, who will travel on an Antarctic cruise from December 3-10, stopping at Carlini for the gig. This will be the second ever gig staged on the continent, following a performance in 2007 from a group of musical scientists, called Nunatak, at British Antarctic Survey’s Rothera Research Station as part of the Live Earth climate change awareness concerts.   • Jane’s Addiction Getting Hollywood Star: Jane’s Addiction will be inducted into the Hollywood Walk of Fame. The band will receive their star on October 30. There will be a ceremony, which will include speeches from Taylor Hawkins of Foo Fighters and John Densmore of The Doors. The band will also perform an outdoor show in Hollywood as part of Jimmy Kimmel Live!
  • Pink Postpones Tour: Pink is taking a break. According to Billboard, the pop star is postponing three gigs on her Canadian tour so that she can rest her vocal cords through the end of the month. Pink tweeted, “Thanks for all the support y’all. Not very dramatic — doctor just wants me on complete vocal rest for four days to heal. So I can kick ass.” The shows are rescheduled to take place in January.
  • Kings Of Leon Announce Tour: Kings Of Leon are going on a tour to promote their latest album Mechanical Bull. They’ll hit the road in February, and continue through the beginning of March. Here’s the full list of dates:
