30 Seconds To Mars‘ latest music video is an ode to Los Angeles. Kanye West, Lindsay Lohan, James Franco and Selena Gomez are among the famous faces that appear in “City of Angels,” a 10-minute music video/short film directed by Jared Leto. Check it out below.

The clip also includes impersonators of famous Hollywood icons like Michael Jackson and Marilyn Monroe. Olivia Wilde, Ashley Olsen, Lily Collins, Juliette Lewis, Alan Cumming, Shaun White and Corey Feldman are also among the stars appearing in the short.

Everyone gets their say about Los Angeles, but Lohan and West are the ones who stand out most (probably because they’re the most famous on the list). Lohan mentioned that, “The city of angels is where [she] was able to find [herself] again, the real [her].

“I wouldn’t have anything if it wasn’t for the city.”

West talks about himself (of course) and the many people Los Angeles have given and taken from him.

“The city took my mother, but the city also gave me my child.”

And in between all of these honest insights, there are clips of 30 Seconds To Mars performing on top of a high building rooftop, with a beautiful pinkish backdrop of Los Angeles.

In a statement, Leto described his project as a “short film about this wild, weird, and wonderful land, Los Angeles, California.”

“A place that has left its mark on the world’s imagination and a place where dreams can actually come true. I made this short film so I could share my thoughts on this incredibly special place and talk to others about theirs. It’s not so much about this particular city but more about the people who inhabit it. This is for the dreamers who know that sometimes the impossible is indeed possible.”

“City of Angels,” the song, is the second single off 30 Seconds To Mars’ fourth album, LOVE LUST FAITH + DREAMS. Here’s the video:
