Lana Del Rey has released a short video titled Tropico, which combines a few tracks from her latest album Born To Die. She has also revealed the title of her next album. Find out below. And Jay Z announced that he’s changing up his diet for his upcoming birthday (this is relevant for some reason). We also have news on Band of Horses‘ new acoustic album. All that and more below.

  • Jay Z Goes Vegan: Jay Z is about to turn 44, and he’s celebrating his birthday by going vegan. We don’t really know why his diet is so mega-important, but people can’t seem to stop talking about it. Here’s what he wrote on his Life + Times blog earlier this week: “On December 3rd, one day before my 44th birthday I will embark on a 22 Days challenge to go completely vegan, or as I prefer to call it, plant-based!!” Jay Z wrote, citing a theory of psychology that it takes someone 21 days to form or break a habit. “This all began a few months back when a good friend and vegan challenged me to embrace a ‘plant-based breakfast’ everyday. It was surprisingly easier on me than I thought… There’s something spiritual to me about it being my 44th birthday and the serendipity behind the number of days in this challenge; 22 (2+2=4) coupled with the fact that the challenge ends on Christmas day. It just feels right!” Wanna join him in his challenge?
