Earlier this week rumors surfaced that both Big Boi and Andre 3000 were working on separate solo albums. Since, Big Boi has confirmed that he’s working on his fourth solo album. More details below. Also, the Vivian Girls are breaking up. All that and more below.

  • Adele Working With Phil Collins: Adele and Phil Collins are working together. The former Genesis frontman revealed that Adele reached out to him about collaborating. He said, “”I’ve just started to work with Adele. She contacted me to write together. I wasn’t actuality too aware [of her]. I live in a cave [but] she’s achieved an incredible amount and I really love her voice and I love some of that stuff she’s done. So, to me, it’s always an eye-opener [to work with new people]. Educational.”
  • Big Boi Announces Solo Album: OutKast‘s Big Boi has confirmed plans for his fourth solo album. The rapper told Report TV, “Look out for that new Big Boi solo record coming…’Vicious Lies And Dangerous Rumors’ and the next one, ‘surprise!’”. He added that the upcoming OutKast reunion tour is “for the fans”.
  • Vivian Girls Break Up: The Vivian Girls are breaking up after seven years together. The band released a statement on Facebook saying, “Brooklyn, New York, March 2007: we started making music together and became what we know as Vivian Girls. It’s been a long and crazy journey in the seven years since, and we feel as though the time has finally come to let our band rest in peace. It’s been an experience that we’ll look back on and cherish and we’d like to thank you for sharing it with us. We have had such an amazing time being a band, touring the world, releasing records and meeting all of you. Thank you to everyone who has helped us along the way, everyone who has come to our shows, bought our records and supported us, and everyone we will meet in the future.” The Vivian Girls will play two final shows before parting ways in Los Angeles and New York.
