pitchfork

As we noted back in February, elitist tastemakers though they may be, Pitchfork can put on one hell of a music festival, as the 2014 Pitchfork Music Festival announced that Beck, Neutral Milk Hotel, and Kendrick Lamar would be anchoring this year’s three-day fest in Chicago, with help from the likes of Slowdive, Sun Kil Moon, Giorgio Morodor, and Grimes.

Now, more acts have been announced, and it just gets better: St. Vincent, ScHoolboy Q, Earl Sweatshirt, Cloud Nothings, Danny Brown, Avey Tare’s Slasher Flicks, Real Estate, Deafheaven, Hudson Mohawke, Dum Dum Girls, Jon Hopkins, Majical Cloudz, Mutual Benefit, Speedy Ortiz, Kelela, The Field, SZA, Hundred Waters, FKA Twigs, Isaiah Rashad, Empress Of, DJ Rashad and DJ Spinn, and Twin Peaks have all been added, according to The AV Club.

Tickets for the fest, which runs from July18-20, can be purchased here.
