- Prince To Release New Album: It’s been 30 year’s since Prince released his infamous album Purple Rain, and the iconic artist has big plans. Purple One and Warner Bros. have announced plans for a digitally remastered, deluxe reissue of the album. Prince also plans to release a new studio LP. [via Spin]
- Beck Prepping New Album: Beck might be releasing a new album this year. This week, he told a crowd while playing a show in Santa Monica for KCRW that he’s been working “on and off on a different set of songs that are more boisterous” than Morning Phase. Beck is currently on tour, and he’ll be playing Coachella this weekend. [via Spin]
- Sky Ferreira Releases “I Blame Myself” Music Video: Sky Ferreira released a new music video this week off of last year’s album Night Time, My Time. The video, titled “I Blame Myself,” was directed by Grant Singer and shows Ferreira in a black hood, fish nets and shades cruising around with gangsters. Check it out:
- Future Drops “I Won” Music Video: Future released a new music video for “I Won” off his upcoming second LP Honest. The black-and-white clip shows Future and Kanye West serenading models posing on a private beach. Future’s Honest drops April 22nd. Check it out:
