In the month of the 20th anniversary of his debut album, Nas has announced that he’s working on a new album. He also revealed that he’s been working with Timbaland for over a year and is feeling ‘inspired.’ Also, Beyonce released a new music video for “Pretty Hurts.” All that and more below.

  • Nas Working On New Album: It’s been 20 years since Nas released his debut album Illmatic. The gifted rapper revealed this week that he has a new album in the works, a followup to 2012′s Life Is Good. He told NPR that he’s been working with Timbaland a year and a half ago, and he’s also working with Swizz Beatz and No I.D.
  • Broken Bells Announce Tour: James Mercer and Danger Mouse of Broken Bells are heading on tour to support their forthcoming album, After the Disco. The dates span late February to mid-March. After the Disco hits stores January 14th via Columbia.
