Adele has dropped a huge hint regarding her upcoming album. The singer, who just turned 26-years-old, posted a selfie on Twitter this weekend that potentially revealed the title to her new album.
None of this is official business, but fans came to the conclusion that Adele’s late-night Tweet was hinting that we could very well be getting a new album from her in the coming months, before the end of the year. Her Tweet said, “bye bye 25… see you later in the year.” Could this mean that her new album title is 25? It would make sense, after all, her past albums have been titled 19 and 21.
There’s also the fact that OneRepublic frontman Ryan Tedder stated that he was working on a new Adele album. He told MSN Music back in March that he had no idea when the record would be released. The singer had previously worked with Adele on 21 – co-writing songs including “Rumour Has It” and “Turning Tables”.
Tedder added that he loved where she’s at and that “she’s still [his] favorite artist in the world.”
“I would press pause on my entire life if it meant I could go into the studio for a month straight with her.”
Also, Phil Collins also claimed that he was writing songs with her.
So could this tiny hint mean that the great Adele will have new music for us soon? We sure hope so.
What do you think of the title 25?
