Their song Sweet Disposition — off of their debut album Conditions — made it unto the dashing 500 Days of Summer soundtrack and since has been a bit of a huge success. Don’t let the soft energy fool you, Sweet Disposition blends riffs and drums in a very powerful, almost holy way.

Having a former music video director make a movie has its perks. Marc Webb, the director of romantic comedy, (500) Days of Summer starring Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Zooey Deschanel has just directed a music video for Deschanel’s song “Why Do You Let Me Stay Here?” by her band She & Him.

If you like the film, you will love the video. The chemistry these two have makes it so enjoyable to watch them in action. Plus it looks like they are having so much fun. Like Deschanel says at the beginning of the video, this is nice compliment to the movie so enjoy.

 Poll: Does A Soundtrack Entice You To See A Film?

There are great films with great soundtracks, there are some awful films with great soundtracks, and of course there are great films with awful soundtracks. No matter which circumstance it is, the music supervisor plays a very large role in making a film seem enticing.

Twilight was not only a popular film, but the soundtrack also did well with songs from Paramore, Linkin Park, Iron and Wine, and Muse. Away We Go also had a great soundtrack, but wasn’t a box office hit overnight. The latest film about love and music (mashing up their characters with Sid and Nancy‘s) involves She & Him‘s Zoeey Deschanel and definitely has a great soundtrack with artists such as Regina Spektor, Doves, Black Lips and of course – The Smiths.
