Stream New Moon Soundtrack In 30 Second Snippets

Right this moment, you can head over to Amazon and stream the entire New Moon soundtrack. That’s right, you can listen to tracks 1 – 15 as much as you want before the actual album release date! The only catch is that you’re only given 30 second clips for each song. We know; what a tease!

However, 30 seconds of one of most highly anticipated compilation put together for a film just might be worth it. You can finally hear what Thom Yorke, Grizzly Bear, Bon Iver & St. Vincent have secretly been cooking up.

Death Cab For Cutie’s Meet Me On The Equinox Video

Death Cab For Cutie's Meet Me On The Equinox Video

It’s here! Death Cab For Cutie has just released their music video for their New Moon song, “Meet Me On The Equinox.”

Hipster teens and gothic Twi-hards can finally unite in heartbreak. With Ben Gibbard still sporting that long hair after his wedding with Zooey Deschanel and Robert Pattinson’s pasty yet chiseled abs, girls (and guys) all over will be drooling by the end of this clip. At the very least, they can join the K-Stew club as they gasp by repeatedly playing it. (Why is her mouth always hanging open?)

Overall, the video serves its purpose as a teaser for the second part of the Twilight saga. Although, we were a bit afraid the band was going to get sparkly on us at one point… Check it out below and let us know what you think!

New Moon Soundtrack’s Complete Track Listing Announced!

New Moon Soundtrack's Complete Tracklisting Announced

The New Moon soundtrack has been announced, and it couldn’t be any more different from the first one! We knew it was going to have an indie sound, but this is just ridiculous! Ridiculous in a good way, anyway.

We had known about Thom Yorke, Bon Iver, Band of Skulls, and Death Cab For Cutie but who knew the Bon Iver track was going to be a duet with St. Vincent! Others that were recently suspected and now confirmed are The Killers, Grizzly Bear, and Stephanie Meyer’s muse, Muse.

Although one part of us is surprised that indie darlings, Anya Marina and Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, are also in the mix, another part says this makes sense. A few of these artists are somehow associated with Alexandra Patsavas’ label, Chop Shop, or her close friends, Nettwerk Music Group. Check out the full track list below and tell us what you think!

After the first Twilight soundtrack sold 2.2 million copies (Neilsen SoundScan), artists, managers, publicists and labels have been scrambling for a spot on the next album.

So far Thom Yorke, Bon Iver and Band of Skulls are all confirmed for New Moon’s soundtrack. Death Cab for Cutie also scored big time as their song, “Meet Me on the Equinox” was chosen as the soundtrack’s leading single. However, famous music supervisor, Alexandra Patsavas (known for placing the music for Grey’s Anatomy, Gossip Girl and the first Twilight film), has told the New York Times, that the track listing is not complete yet.
