Franz Ferdinand is back with another video for “Can’t Stop Feeling” – the official third single off of their latest album, Tonight: Franz Ferdinand. The concept behind the video is as clever as the song is catchy. With band members bench pressing one another, slaps to the face occurring, and hammers knocking the next scene away – all via split screen, it’s a lot more entertaining than watching camera-holding women dance around.

This is an exciting list of albums coming out this week! It looks like old schoolers are taking over with new releases from Iggy Pop, Dave Matthews Band and Vanessa Williams (Still trying to prove she can sing too). After a slow week, it’s nice to have all these different options.

The Glastonbury music festival, UK’s top music festival, doesn’t handle things the way American music festivals do. Instead of telling people the make-up of the year’s lineup, the festival’s organizers sell tickets before anyone knows who will be performing. It seems to work, as the tickets sold out quickly this year, even though the festival requires people who want tickets to pre-register, which requires the submission of contact information and a passport photo. If that happened in this country, people would complain like crazy that the festival couldn’t legally collect such information.

Franz Ferdinand will be premiering their new track, “Can’t Stop Feeling,” off of their upcoming album, Tonight: Franz Ferdinand, set for release on January 26. The track will be premiered exclusively on NME Radio on Monday, January 16th and then I’m sure will spread quickly across the wonderful world of the Internet.
Franz Ferdinand has released the second single from their upcoming album Tonight: Franz Ferdinand. The track called “What She Came For” is slightly darker than the previous release from the album “Ulysses” while still capturing that Franz sound we’ve all come to know and love.
