After the much talked about Kanye West-Taylor Swift incident at the MTV Video Music Awards, it seems like everyone has been weighing in with their opinion. One of the most surprising and most candid responses came from the President himself. According to theĀ Associated Press, the recently released audio and Twitter feed of President Obama brings up more controversy amongst journalistic standards than West’s recent outburst.

It’s the morning after, and people are still buzzing about the events from last night’s drama filled Video Music Awards. The hottest topic from the show stems from Kanye West‘s erratic behavior during the acceptance speech of country star Taylor Swift. The MTV Video Music Awards released their nominees for Best Breakthrough Video earlier this week. Just like we were impressed with MTV’s Top Albums of 2009 list, we are amazed at how much depth this nominee list has.

Beyonce and Lady Gaga grabbed to most nominations with a total of 9, and rounding out the top 3 is Britney Spears with 7 nominations.
Russell Brand will be hosting the award ceremony on September 13 with performances by Green Day, Pink, and Taylor Swift.
In the battle between Beyonce and Lady Gaga, I am definitely rooting for Beyonce, but truthfully, I am on Team Britney; I hope she wins a few Moonmen, just to prove that the pop industry is completely insane.
