Over 50,000 music files have been stolen from Sony Music, including all of Michael Jackson’s back catalog of released music, and a large swath of unreleased tunes and duets from the deceased King of Pop, according to Billboard, stating that hackers were responsible for the massive theft.
Dr. Conrad Murray, the lovable doctor to the stars who was bizarrely and inexplicably convicted of manslaughter in the death of Michael Jackson for simply being a good doctor and pumping his patient full of potentially fatal meds for years without question due to the massive amounts of money he was being paid, has decided the his next best move would not be to accept the court’s hearing with some semblance of dignity and responsibility, but to appeal the conviction because Michael’s death came from being, like, totally stressed out, you guys.
The question of the day is: If you had a $10,000 tuft of the late entertainment genius Michael Jackson’s hair, what would you do with it? An online gambling site bought a small portion of hair from online memorabilia merchant Gotta Have Rock & Roll for $10,871 and plan to convert that piece of hair into none else but a roulette ball. What? You wouldn’t pay 10K for a small piece of some dead guy’s hair and make a useless roulette ball out of it? Seriously, they’re an online gambling site. After an exhausting six week trial and nine hours for the jury’s official decision, Dr. Conrad Murray was found guilty of involuntary manslaughter yesterday afternoon. Michael Jackson‘s family are rightfully relieved; the King of Pop was prepared for his comback tour, This Is It, when Murray administered the deadly dose of propofol to Jackson without properly supervising his patient or taking proper steps after he stopped breathing.
Over three years after Michael Jackson‘s untimely death and days of postponement, the trial of overdose-prescribing-physician Dr. Conrad Murray began in Los Angeles today. Initially slated to be televised (who would turn off The Ellen Show to watch a trial?), Murray’s non-guilty plea to felony involuntary manslaughter was heartily contested with toxicology reports and images of Jackson’s corpse.

Because it’s been too long since his name was last dragged throughout the news, Michael Jackson’s family released a statement today, saying that they are “denying their support for a concert paying tribute to the late King of Pop scheduled for October 8th in Cardiff, Wales.”
